Preparation and Warm-up

  • Warm-up consists of stretching exercises and movements to increase your flexibility and prepare your body for practice.

  • Ki Development and Applications

  • Exercises are performed throughout each class.
  • Ki Development involves exercises to coordinate your mind and body to achieve your strongest state and include breathing and meditation exercises.
  • Students learn and practice how to move correctly or maintain their position while maintaining a strong natural posture, a relaxed centered body and a calm mind.

  • Self – defense Technique

  • Technique involves responses to one or more attackers.
  • Self-defense is achieved by reducing the power of the attacker, moving to the attackers’ blind or weak spot, leading them off balance and either administering a wrist or arm lock or throwing them off.
